Group workshops
Workshop facilitation and business skills training in copy and content writing. I run Practical, hands-on workshops teaching groups of entrepreneurs how to write copy and content for their business, how to find their unique brand voice and how to tell powerful brand stories effectively across different platforms.
I tailor content and delivery to the mix of attendees, their goals and backgrounds, and the levels of confidence and experience in the room. Working with organisations including Bradford Producing Hub, Parents of Small Biz Leeds, and The Tribe Network, I deliver workshops to groups of creative industries freelancers and small business owners across West Yorkshire.
Copyshop workshops balance strategy and creativity, by:
Teaching enough insight into copy and messaging strategy to give attendees a new approach or framework to writing for their business
Applying that knowledge in practical exercises, with prompts and templates that use creative processes to enhance their writing
Putting it into practice on a project (such as an About page or an artist statement), with one-on-one guidance and individual attention
Making space for reflection and collaboration alongside peers to network and share ideas and experiences
I focus on fostering an approachable, supportive, and inclusive environment to empower small business owners and creatives with the tools and confidence to write their own copy.
In-house training
I also deliver bespoke copywriting workshops in-house to businesses and marketing teams. In a hybrid approach between training and consultancy, I can join your team for a day and together we’ll work through exercises to:

Nail down your messaging (and convey the value in your business)
Find and document your brand voice (so everyone’s writing has the same vibe)
Uncover your brand stories (to captivate those dream clients)
